I have been investigating molecular, cellular and genetic inflammatory biomarkers in patients with depression and in relation to antidepressant treatment. My work is funded by NARSAD, Biomedical Research Centre, UK, European Association of Neuropsychopharmacology and the European Framework 7.More specifically, I have been conducting research on the relationship between stress, hormones, inflammation and psychopathology, in different clinical and experimental models.
