Marcela Miranda is a current postdoc collaborator at São Paulo University (USP- 2021-current). Ph.D. in Food and Nutrition, emphasis in Food Sciences at Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP-2020), with a doctoral sandwich period at the U.S. Horticultural Research Laboratory- United States Department of Agriculture (by PDSE - Programa de Doutorado Sanduíche no Exterior CAPES scholarship). Collaborator at Embrapa Instrumentation (Post-Harvest Technologies Laboratory 2011-2020). Master in Biotechnology (2015) and B. Sc in Biology (2012) from the Federal University of São Carlos-UFSCar, São Carlos. She has experience in the following subjects: teaching natural science and biology, post-harvest conservation; nanostructured food coatings; incidence of mechanical damage and food quality; aroma volatiles compounds; post-harvest physiology and physicochemical quality; essential oils and antimicrobial activity. Recent experience (since Feb 2021): molecular biology, human cell cultivation, gene transformation, VLP (virus-like particles) generation, antibody neutralization assays, drug candidate assay, all related to SarCov-2 virus. h (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
