Bárbara Silva Vignato

Graduated in Animal Science (2010) from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science/Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (FMVZ/UNESP). Master in Science (2013) from College of Animal Science and Food Engineering from São Paulo University (FZEA/USP), focusing on Meat Quality, physicochemical analysis, Differential Expression Analysis (RT-PCR and convetional PCR), and Molecular Biology. Ph.D. in Sciences (2017) from FZEA/USP, focusing on Genomic and Transcriptomic Analysis, Molecular Biology, and Cattle Meat and Carcass quality. Between june/2018 an february/2023, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Animal Biotechnology Laboratory/Functional Genomics Center (BIOCEMA) of the Animal Science Department at the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture/University of São Paulo (ESALQ/USP), focusing on Bioinformatics Analysis (Next Generation Sequencing, GWAS, eQTL, Differential Expression, etc), Molecular Biology and Quality of beef and beef carcass. Between april/2023 an july/2024, I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Applied Preventive Veterinary Medicine Laboratory (LMVPA) FZEA/USP, collaborating with the PREVIR-MCTI Network Project (National Epidemiological Surveillance Network for Coronavirus SARS-COV-2 and other Emerging Pathogens in Bats, Birds and other Wild Reservoirs), whose main purpose is to improve health within the context of One Health.
