Birthplace: Brazil

Assistant Professor at São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP). He carried out postdoctoral research at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), working on the modeling, simulation, and experimental characterization of magnetic textures in ferromagnetic thin films with interfacial effects. He holds a Ph.D. from the Graduate Program in Materials Science and Technology (POSMAT/UNESP), with a research period at the University of Antwerp, Belgium, where he developed studies on the modeling and simulation of skyrmion dynamics in chiral magnetic films. During his Ph.D., he also completed a 12-month research internship at Los Alamos National Laboratory, in Los Alamos, United States. He holds a Masters degree in Materials Science and Technology, with research on the dynamics of vortices in type-II superconducting strips, and a Bachelors degree in Physics with an emphasis on Materials from UNESP, Bauru campus. He has experience in magnetism, computational simulations, magnetic thin films, skyrmions, magnetic textures, and superconducting systems. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
