Universidade Federal do ABC (UFABC). Centro de Engenharia, Modelagem e Ciências Sociais Aplicadas (CECS) (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal) Birthplace: Brazil
Bachelors degree in Chemistry with Technological Assignments (2007) and Ph.D. in Energy from the Centre for Engineering, Modelling and Applied Social Sciences at the Federal University of ABC (2013). Completed research internships at the Institute of Physical Chemistry of Materials, Environment and Energy, University of Buenos Aires (Argentina, 2009), and at the Nanoporous Materials Centre, University of Manchester (UK, 2012). Postdoctoral fellowships were undertaken at the Institute of Chemistry (2015) and the Department of Chemical Engineering, Polytechnic School (2019), both at the University of São Paulo (USP). Served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Innovation in New Energies (CINE), funded by ShellFAPESP cooperation, in Division 3 Methane to Products. Also participated as a researcher in the Human Resources Program of the National Petroleum Agency (PRH-ANP) and worked as a visiting professor at the Federal University of ABC.Brings extensive expertise in materials chemistry and renewable energy production, focusing on the design and advanced characterization of nanomaterials composed of mesoporous silicas and metal oxides. These materials feature controlled morphologies, compositions, oxygen vacancies, and structural disorders tailored for methane and ethanol conversion. Currently conducting research at Sirius LNLS/CNPEM on the PAINEIRA beamline, dedicated to powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), with emphasis on in situ and operando experiments. The research aims to elucidate structural and chemical mechanisms governing catalytic performance in complex, dynamic systems, emphasizing rational control of defect chemistry and structural heterogeneity in nanostructured materials. Complementary techniques applied include X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) and pair distribution function (PDF) analysis. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
