Gabriel Matheus Pinto holds a degree in Materials Engineering from University Center of FEI (2017) and has been honored several times for high academic performance and participation in extracurricular projects. He was also awarded by CREA-SP, CRQ-IV, ABM and Instituto de Engenharia as the best student in his class. During graduation, he developed projects related to the reuse of industrial waste in the fields of vegetable fiber reinforced Polymer Composites and Polymer Blends. He has recently completed his MSc project financed by FAPESP in the area of Polymer Nanocomposites at MackGraphe - Advanced Research Center in Graphene and 2D Materials. This work was partially developed at the Department of Macromolecular Science and Engineering at Case Western Reserve University, due to an abroad research fellowship (BEPE) also granted by FAPESP. He currently works on his PhD project, which is developed in the area of Micro and Nanostructured Multifunctional Materials, more specifically related to Polymeric Nanocomposites. This work is also developed at MackGraphe - Advanced Research Center in Graphene and 2D Materials. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
