PhD student in Microbiology at the University of São Paulo (USP), with a research exchange period at the University of California, Davis (UCDavis), USA. Holds a Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Microbiology) from USP and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Santa Cruz (UESC). Researches new antifungal agents, focusing on urease inhibition as a therapeutic strategy against Cryptococcus spp. Has experience in microbiology, molecular biology, microbial biochemistry, and the development of new therapeutic approaches for invasive fungal infections. Throughout her academic journey, has participated in projects on the efficacy of antifungal agents encapsulated in nanocarriers, the evaluation of natural compounds with antioxidant activity, and the safety of resveratrol in food.
