During her scientific initiation (2018-2020), she characterized a protein secreted by Salmonella Typhimurium by the Type VI Secretion System (T6SS). She is currently a Master's student at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the Universidade de São Paulo and studies the contribution of Hcps proteins to the Salmonella Typhimurium pathogenesis SPI-6 T6SS-dependent .
