Birthplace: Brazil

Master in Physics at the Institute of Physics of University of São Paulo (USP). The main focus of his work is the study on the gamma-ray absorption in the extragalactic medium, looking to determine the observational constraints that the new generation of ground-based gamma-ray detectors through Chrenkov light (the CTA observatory) will bring. Particularly, by studying the TeV observations of blazars and its contraints on the spectrum of the extragalactic background light (EBL), a radiation field of interest in Extragalactic Astrophysics and Cosmology. In the first semester of 2020, he obtained his bachelor degree in Astronomy at the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences (IAG) of University of Sâo Paulo. In the second semester, got his degree in Physics at the Physics Institute in the same University. At IAG, he was a member of BEACON group, dedicated to the study of Be stars. There, developed a science project with the goal of applying Monte Carlo and Bayesian methods to infer stellar parameters from spectroscopic data. Previously, in 2016, he obtained a bachelor degree in Economics at the School of Economics, Business and Accounting of USP. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
