Tayllon dos Anjos Garcia is a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Jan. 2011), and has completed his Master (Feb. 2014) and PhD (Mar. 2018) in Pharmacology at the Department of Pharmacology, Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP). From Nov. 2018 to Jan. 2022, Tayllon worked as a Post-doctoral Researcher Fellow at the Department of Pharmacology (FMRP-USP). From Mai. 2022 to Mai. 2024, Tayllon worked as a Visiting Professor at the Multicenter Postgraduate Program in Physiological Sciences, Federal University of Alfenas (PPGMCF-UNIFAL-MG) and Substitute Professor of Pharmacology at the São Paulo State University (UNESP - Campus Jaboticabal). Is currently an Adjunct Professor of Pharmacology at the Institute of Health Sciences - ICS at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT - Campus Sinop). He is a Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences (PPGCS) at ICS-UFMT-CUS. He has experience in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and neuroscience focused on animal models of psychiatric disorders. Tayllon is interested in understanding the role of several neurotransmitters and neuromodulators in neural circuits of fear-related disorders and the connections between those structures.
