PhD in Environmental Sciences from UNESP (2018) with a research internship at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering in the area of Sanitation from UNESP (2013), MBA in Environmental Management and Technologies from the Polytechnic School of USP (2010), and a degree in Administration from the University of Sorocaba (2005). He worked in the private sector and third sector (2005-2008) and in environmental and sustainable development public policies (2009-2013) at various levels (such as municipal and state governments, public consortia, river basin committees, and conservation units). He was a Professor of Sanitation and Waste Management at UFSCar Sorocaba campus and a researcher at UNESP Sorocaba campus (2014-2018). Between 2018 and 2021, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Public Management (GEP) of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV/EAESP), and in 2022 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ghent University (Belgium) in the ORIENTING project of the EU Horizon Program. In 2022 and 2023, he also worked as a consultant for the National Basic Sanitation Plan (PLANSAB), the Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan (PGIRS) of the Alto Tietê River Basin, and an Environmental Services Payment project in the Brazilian Amazon. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV/EAESP) and a collaborating professor at UNESP Sorocaba campus. He has experience in the fields of Administration and Engineering, mainly focusing on the following topics: Environmental and Urban Policy Instruments, Cities and Settlements, Circular Economy, Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA), and Climate Change.
