I'm PhD in Food Engineering (2018 - 2023) from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and Master in Food Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2016 - 2018). She completed a sandwich doctorate period (May/2022 to November/2022 at the Instituto de Investigación en Ciencias de la Alimentación in Madrid (Spain). Food Engineer graduated from the Federal University of São João del-Rei (2009 - 2015) with a sandwich period (Sciences without Borders - CNPq) of 1 year at the Universitat de Lleida (UdL), Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Agrária. She completed an internship in the PD sector (quality control, food analysis and enzymatic optimization) at the company Indulleida S.A. dedicated to the manufacture of fruit derivatives, located in Lleida, Spain. Graduated in Interdisciplinary Bachelor's Degree in Biosystems from the Federal University of São João del-Rei. She has experience in high-pressure technologies, extraction and purification of bioactive compounds and pectin for applications in food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. She is a specialist in Food Engineering, with an emphasis on Thermodynamics, Physical Separations and Food Analysis, working mainly on the following topics: characterization of raw materials and bioproducts, extraction, membrane separation process aiming at fractionation, purification and concentration of bioactive compounds and pectin, and use of agro-industrial waste. During her undergraduate studies, she carried out two scientific initiations working on the following topics: technical-economic analysis and simulation applied to biodiesel production, alcoholic fermentation and development of a new type of beverage. She completed two teaching internships in the undergraduate course Thermodynamics. She was a teacher in the subject Food Chemistry and worked as a substitute teacher in 11 schools of the State Education Network of Minas Gerais, teaching the subjects of Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. She published 9 scientific articles in international journals with QUALIS A1, 1 scientific article in an international journal with QUALIS A2, 4 scientific articles in international journals with QUALIS A3. He filed two patent applications (BR 1320200154280 and BR 1020230033644) with the INPI regarding innovative processes for extracting and concentrating bioactive compounds and obtaining pectin, developed during his ongoing doctoral thesis. He has published two book chapters with a legally established publisher, ten complete papers, and nine simple and expanded abstracts in regional, national, and international conferences.
