Maria Carolina de Vasconcelos e Oliveira

Performing artist, researcher and assistant professor at the Department of Performing Arts at the Unesp Institute of Arts. Her research topics are mainly circus arts, performing arts and cultural policies. Post-doctorate at the Unesp Arts Institute, with research on the poetics and politics of contemporary circus arts. She has a PhD from FFLCH (University of São Paulo), having researched the topic of artistic productions defined as independent, with a focus on contemporary cinema (research awarded by the FFLCH/USP Best Theses Program). He has a master's degree from FFLCH (University of São Paulo), with research on cultural mediation and participation in the arts (research awarded by the Itaú Cultural Rumos Program).
