Veterinarian graduated from the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA). During the undergraduate studies, was a scholarship holder in the Tutorial Education Program (PET) in Veterinary Medicine, under the supervision of Professor Henrique Ribeiro Alves de Resende. Also participated in the Science Without Borders Program Germany, completing a sandwich undergraduate program in Veterinary Medicine at Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin), with funding provided by Capes. Holds a Masters degree in Sciences in the field of Animal Nutrition and Production from the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of the University of São Paulo (FMVZ/USP), under the supervision of Professor Angélica Simone Cravo Pereira and co-supervision of Dr. Mirele Daiana Poleti. Also holds a PhD in Sciences in the field of Animal Biosciences from the School of Animal Science and Food Engineering of the University of São Paulo (FZEA/USP), under the supervision of Professor José Bento Sterman Ferraz and co-supervision of Dr. Mirele Daiana Poleti.
