Researcher affiliated with the São Paulo Law School of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV Direito SP), he holds a PhD and a Masters degree in Constitutional Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), having conducted research stays at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and the Max Planck Institute in Freiburg, Germany, with funding from CAPES. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law, funded by the Max Planck Society. He also holds a specialization in Constitutional Law from PUC-SP, a Law degree from the same institution, and a Philosophy degree from USP. His academic and professional background is focused on Public Law, with emphasis on freedom of expression, data protection, constitutional review, public policy, and fundamental rights. He coordinates and participates in research projects funded by agencies such as CNPq, FAPESP, and CAPES, with a focus on comparative studies on freedom of expression, digital regulation, public security, and international cooperation. He is a senior CNPq fellow in the project The Incomplete Constitutional Democracy in Latin America: Democratic Erosion Between the Domestic and the International, which investigates the impact of declining democratic quality in the region on fundamental rights. He coordinates the project Égide: Surveillance in Public Schools in the City of Campinas (SP), funded by FAPESP, which analyzes public policies for preventing school violence developed in partnership with the Municipality of Campinas. He engages in academic cooperation with national and international institutions, participating in conferences, symposia, and interinstitutional projects. He is a member of research groups dedicated to the study of comparative constitutionalism, human rights, and digital regulation, with scientific output focused on the critical analysis of constitutional jurisprudence and the formulation of normative and public policy proposals.
