Holds a PhD in Sciences with an emphasis in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), a Master's degree in Chemistry with an emphasis in Analytical Chemistry from the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA) and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry from UFMA. Conducted research at The Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA, Spain) (2018) and Queen's University Belfast (Northern Ireland, UK) (2023). Currently is a postdoctoral researcher at the Environmental Studies Center of São Paulo State University developing research on fractioning of rare earth elements in the environment. Has experience in analytical and environmental chemistry with a focus on (i) mobility and speciation of elements in soils and sediments; (ii) contamination of water, soil and sediment by organic and inorganic pollutants; (iii)diffusive gradients in thin films; and (iv) environmental risk assessment of organic contaminants in water.
