Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (UENF) and holds a Doctorate from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FCF) at the University of São Paulo (USP). He mainly works in the fields of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, with a focus on Epidemiology and Omics Sciences, specializing in Transcriptomics (RNA-Seq and scRNA-Seq). He has experience in the development and implementation of computational methodologies for analyzing clinical, demographic, and sequencing data. He possesses technical expertise in machine learning and inferential statistics, including data visualization approaches and application development. He utilizes his knowledge to identify patterns that associate comorbidities with the progression of infectious diseases. Currently, he is part of the research group at the Computational Systems Biology Laboratory (CSBL) and works as a Scientific Researcher at Instituto Todos pela Saúde (ITpS).
