Ph.D. candidate in Biotechnology at São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP), supported by FAPESP (Grant 2022/03334-6). Currently undertaking a research internship abroad (BEPE) at Dalhousie University (Truro, Canada), also funded by FAPESP (Grant 2024/10311-8). Adherent to Green Chemistry principles, he works in the fields of Bioprocess Engineering, Environmental Biotechnology, Remediation, and Analytical Chemistry, focusing on the development of sustainable methodologies for biomass valorization in photocatalytic applications aimed at contaminant degradation, as well as the development of sensors and biosensors for environmental monitoring. His research activities are conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ivana Cesarino (UNESP) and Prof. Dr. Quan He (Dalhousie University). He has published articles in collaboration with international institutions such as Dalhousie University (Canada), Queensland University of Technology (Australia), Minjiang University (China), and University of California (United States), and has presented his work at international conferences, including at the University of Lisbon (Portugal). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Bioprocess and Biotechnology Engineering from UNESP and is a member of the Brazilian Society of Electrochemistry and Electroanalysis (SBEE).
