Bruno Bueno Silva

Dental Surgeon graduated in Dentistry from the Piracicaba School of Dentistry - State University of Campinas (2005). Master's (2008) and PhD (2012) in Dentistry in the area of Pharmacology, Anesthesiology and Therapeutics - FOP/Unicamp, with 1-year period at the University of Rochester, USA as Resercher Visiting Scholar. He has a post-doctorate in Oral Microbiology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo - ICB/USP (2012 to 2015). He is currently Associate Professor at the Piracicaba School of Dentistry, UNICAMP, in the Department of Biosciences, in the area of Pharmacology, Anesthesiology and Therapeutics. He also works in the Postgraduate Program in Dentistry at the same institution. Has experience in Dentistry, with an emphasis on Pharmacology, Microbiology, Anesthesiology and Therapeutics, working mainly on the following subjects: propolis, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, subgingival biofilm, S. mutans, natural products. Member of the Brazilian Society of Dental Research (SBPqO), the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) and the Board of the Latin American Oral Health Association (LAOHA). He is Associate Editor of the journal BMC Complementary Medicine and Therapies and Review Editor of the journals Frontiers in Oral Health and Frontiers in Dental Medicine.
