José Henrique Padovani is an Associate Professor in the Department of General Music Theory (area: Composition) at the School of Music of UFMG, where he also serves as a permanent faculty member in the Graduate Program in Music (areas: 'Analytical and Creative Processes' and 'Sonology'). He was a full-time professor in the Department of Music at UFPB (2012-2016) and the Department of Music at the Institute of Arts of Unicamp (2016-2017).He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music (Composition) from the School of Music of UFMG (2006), and a Master's (2009) and a Doctorate (2013) in Music (Creative Processes) from the Institute of Arts of Unicamp.
