He received the degree and the Ph.D. degree in Electronics Engineering from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA), São José dos Campos, Brazil, in 2004 and 2017, respectively, working in the field of Software Development for Signal Processing, Artificial Inteligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Remote Sensing.With 18 years of experience in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), he has taught more than 300 hours of courses in this area. He also has experience in Project Management, Team Leadership and Lean Manufacturing projects. He was President of the ITA Engineers Association (AEITA) from 2020 to 2023.Dr. Rosa was the recipient of the Lacaz Neto Award for the best degree thesis of the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA) in 2004 and of the XVII Remote Sensing Brazilian Symposium Best Paper Award in 2015.He is currently a Space Systems Engineer at Visiona Tecnologia Espacial S.A., Co-chair of the SAR Working Group of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and Vice-President of the ITA Engineers Association (AEITA).
