Ph.D. in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations at the University of São Paulo (IRI-USP); M.A. in Political Science from the Department of Political Science, School of Philosophy, Languages and Literature, and Human Sciences (DCP/FFLCH-USP); J.D. from the University of São Paulo Law School (FD-USP); and B.A. in Social Sciences from FFLCH-USP, including a study abroad program at Université Paris IV Sorbonne. Former Research Fellow at the Center for Latin American and Latino Studies (CLALS) at American University in Washington, D.C. He holds a postgraduate certificate in Electoral Observation from the University of Salamanca. Completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme at United World College Costa Rica, earning a bilingual diploma in English and Spanish. He is affiliated with the Center for the Study of International Negotiations (CAENI) at the Institute of Advanced Studies (IEA-USP) and serves as a researcher at the Electoral Observatory of the Americas, a joint initiative between USP and the Organization of American States (OAS).From 2020 to 2022, he participated in the USP Municípios Program. He was also a researcher at the José Bonifácio Chair of the Ibero-American Center (CIBA-USP) during the 20212022 cycle. In 2022, he volunteered with Transparência Eleitoral Brasil.He has extensive experience as an electoral observer and regional coordinator in OAS Electoral Observation Missions. In Brazils 2022 general elections, he coordinated the overseas voting observation initiative for Transparência Eleitoral Brasilthe first domestic observation mission to include the expatriate vote.His main research interests include democracy and elections as mediated conflict; past founded projects included transnational security and penal populism.
