Luisa Tombini Wittmann holds a PhD in Social History from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC), in Southern Brazil. She teaches in both the Undergraduate Program and the Graduate Programs (Masters and Doctorate in History and in History Teaching). She also coordinates the Center for Affirmative Action Policies and Diversity at UDESC, as well as the AYA Laboratory of Postcolonial and Decolonial Studies, a research center dedicated to African, Afro-Brazilian, and Indigenous histories.
