Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Paraná (2005), a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of São Paulo (2010), a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of São Paulo, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship from New York University. Has experience in the field of bioinformatics and molecular biology, with an emphasis on gene expression, molecular evolution, and molecular biology of cancer. Currently conducts research in systems biology to uncover mechanisms of cellular adaptation to stress agents and cancer therapies using single-cell RNA-Seq, epigenetic assays (ATAC-Seq), CRISPR screens, and computational biology.
