Graduated in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Pelotas in 2016, I completed my PhD in 2021 in Sciences with an emphasis on Biochemistry and Bioprospecting. Throughout my academic journey, I have focused on studying the pharmacological activities of organic compounds containing Selenium for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease in animal models.Currently, I hold a position as a researcher (Post-doctorate) at the Research Laboratory on Redox Processes in Inflammation, located at the Department of Biochemistry, Institute of Chemistry, University of São Paulo. In my current role, I am involved in the characterization and application of a new biosensor to monitor the production and role of organic peroxides in redox signaling in mammalian cells.
