Milena Rossales Castro

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos. Since 2021, I have been an intern at the Laboratory of Endocrine Physiology and Physical Exercise, where I had the opportunity to conduct a Scientific Initiation funded by FAPESP, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Wladimir Rafael Beck. In 2023, I completed this research, and we are currently in the process of producing a scientific article. Throughout my academic journey, I actively participated in research, teaching, and extension activities as a scholarship holder of the Tutorial Education Program, linked to the Ministry of Education in Brazil, a project that greatly contributed to my academic and personal development. Currently, I work in science communication in the field of Environmental Education with a FAPESP TT3 scholarship, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Arlene Gonçalves Corrêa and supervision of Prof. Dr. Sérgio Henrique Vannucchi Leme de Mattos. Additionally, I dedicate part of my time as a volunteer at the educational social institution Soul Bilíngue, an initiative that democratizes access to international education, through which I received recognition in the form of a scholarship to the United States.
