Graduated in Biomedical Sciences from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (ICB-USP) (20202024). She was a FAPESP Scientific Initiation fellow in the DNA Repair Laboratory at ICB-USP. During her undergraduate research, she completed a 4-month internship at the Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine at the University of California San Diego (San Diego, CA), funded by a FAPESP Research Internship Abroad Scholarship (BEPE-FAPESP). There, she acquired experience in the differentiation of cerebral cortical organoids and neural progenitor cells from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), focusing on the study of neurodegenerative diseases. She has experience in the field of Genetics, with an emphasis on Mutagenesis, mainly working on the following topics: DNA repair, molecular biology, iPSCs, neurons, and cerebral cortical organoids.
