Throughout his academic career, she had several practical experiences in scientific research. In 2022, she participated in a scientific initiation project at the Biotechnology Laboratory of the Sylvio Moreira Citriculture Center, where she worked with genetic transformation of plants of the genus Citrus. In the same year, she developed another project, supported by FAPESP, focused on the synthesis of Janus particles from sugarcane wax for applications as an emulsion stabilizer. In 2024, she did a short-term internship at the Carlos Chagas Filho Institute of Biophysics (UFRJ), where she investigated resistance mechanisms of the pathogen that causes Chagas Disease. These experiences reinforced her interest in pursuing a career in segments related to food science and technology, through an analytical vision and sustainability-oriented approach.
