Currently, he is a Postdoc at Tandon School/NYU, working on projects in Augmented Reality, Explainable AI, and, more recently, Urban Science. He works with researchers from VIDA lab, under supervision of professor Cláudio Silva. During his Ph.D. (co-supervised by Moacir Ponti and Rosane Minghim) and Masters (supervised by Rosane Minghim) in Computer Science, he developed predictive models and visualization frameworks to support the identification and exploration of animal species recorded in the wild, helping soundscape analysis. He conducted these research in a program from ICMC/USP, working with researchers from VICG lab (VICG) (currently GIVA). He hold a bachelor's in Computer Science from UESB. Besides, he worked as a technical expert on a research project at ICMC/USP, also creating material and tools to explore animal sounds, and worked for 6+ years with development of medical systems.
