Bachelor in Science and Technology and in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC). Holds a Masters and Ph.D. degree from the Biosystems program, also at UFABC, with a sandwich Ph.D. at Technische Universität Braunschweig. Has interests in the fields of molecular biology, enzymology, microbiology, and biotechnology. More specifically, has experience in cloning and expression of recombinant proteins in bacterial and eukaryotic systems, as well as in the purification and characterization processes of these proteins. Currently studies the generation of antibodies with inhibitory potential against proteases using phage display technology, serving as the lead researcher in a PIPE-FAPESP project in collaboration with the company KRABS Biotechnology.
