Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Astronomia, Geofísica e Ciências Atmosféricas (IAG)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in physics. PhD degree in Astrophysics in 2018. Four years as a postdoc in Mexico city (U. Nacional Autónoma de Mexico), from 2018 to 2022, studying stellar populations, the interstellar medium and the diffuse ionized gas, focusing on data from integral field spectroscopy surveys (e.g. CALIFA, MaNGA, AMUSING). In particular, I have redesigned the Pipe3D pipeline (now pyPipe3D) to be transparent for the input data. This new version also implements a full documentation online with a set of libraries to be used by users who want to build their own tools. Together, Ive joined the GMT Brazil group on the remote maintenance of the T80-South telescope creating computational tools to help the observation group, network administration, backup and data distribution, telescope workflow and the automatization of the observation plan. I define myself as an extragalactic astronomer and a programmer. Specialist in the development of algorithms for processing and analyzing astrophysical data. I have more than 20 years of programming experience and nowadays I mostly program in python, shell script and awk, but I can easily learn any other programming language. In the past, I also worked as a telecommunications and telematics technician, developing automated systems to control urban traffic and refrigeration. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
