Dr. Pedro Ernesto Pereira Paro holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Production Engineering, as well as master's and doctoral degrees in science from the School of Engineering of São Carlos at the University of São Paulo (EESC/USP). He specializes in Change Management, Organizational Culture, Sustainability, and Stakeholder Management. Additionally, he is certified as a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma from UNICAMP. Pedro is renowned for driving innovations and pragmatically applying scientific knowledge in companies such as Cyrela, Banco BV, Grupo Jacto, Magalu, Arezzo, Localiza, and Movida.Pedro leads two significant projects in Artificial Intelligence for Sustainability, funded by FAPESP, which contribute substantially to sustainability innovations. His research has resulted in impactful publications and has received extensive coverage in leading media outlets. He writes a recurring opinion column for Exame and co-authored the book "Conscious Entrepreneurship," demonstrating his commitment to sustainable business practices. He is also an active speaker, including engagements at TEDx USP São Carlos.In his teaching role, Pedro designs and delivers courses that merge his research with practical educational methods, preparing students and professionals for current challenges. He currently teaches postgraduate courses at the Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP) and the Feliciência Institute, where he instructs on "Stakeholder-Oriented Business."
