Holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS). Earned a Master's degree in Mathematics from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), São José do Rio Preto campus, with research focused on image processing and texture descriptors. Completed a Ph.D. in Mathematics at the same institution, specializing in Operations Research, investigating the integrated cutting stock and lot-sizing problem with setup costs. During the doctoral program, undertook two international research internships: one at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and another at HEC Montréal. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher in the Graduate Program in Operations Research at UNIFESP/ITA in São José dos Campos.
