Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and Bachelor's degree in Environmental and Sanitary Engineering from the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) with part completed in Environmental Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology (MST), where she received Outstanding Academic Achievement Award. She participated in the interdisciplinary group Global Classroom while working at the Global Energy Network Institute (GENI) in San Diego, USA. She also worked in solid waste management projects, analysis and elaboration of Technical Projects for effluent treatment plants, environmental reports and in Environmental Forensics to investigate environmental crimes and contamination events in urban and rural environments for the Public Ministry of Minas Gerais (MPMG). Currently, she studies the optimization of biological synthesis of nanoparticles using agroindustrial waste as bioreductor, including the characterization of agroindustrial waste and nanomaterials. She has experience in Environmental Engineering, with emphasis on Environmental and Materials Sciences, working mainly on the following topics: phenolic compounds, agricultural residue, antimicrobial, nanomaterials and hydrothermal.
