Gabriel da Silva Ramos

Graduated in Biological Sciences - Bachelor's Degree, from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). Currently, he is developing a master's project in the area of #8203;#8203;Plant Physiology, in the Postgraduate Program in Plant Biology - UFPE. In the developed projects, he seeks to understand the different physiological, anatomical, functional/morphological and molecular/isotopic strategies presented by tropical vegetation against climate change. During his undergraduate degree, he participated in an internship at the Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Biology (CENA-USP). With experience in: (a) Ecophysiological aspects: dynamics of non-structural carbohydrates, stomatal conductance, water potential, cost of leaf construction; (b) Ecological anatomy: aspects in the construction of leaf tissues (epidermis/leaf mesophyll); (c) Functional/Morphological aspects in plants: root morphology, wood density; (d) Molecular and isotopic techniques: extraction and quantification of DNA and RNA, traceability techniques based on isotopic ratios.
