Ph.D. in Physics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2021), with research focused on the characterization and identification of point defects both extrinsic and intrinsic in 2D and 3D semiconductor materials induced by neutron, electron, and gamma-ray irradiation. M.Sc. in Applied Physics from the Federal University of Viçosa (2017), working on the synthesis of ferromagnetic thin films by electrodeposition, magnetic characterization of multilayers, and the development of microfabrication techniques. B.Sc. in Physics (Teaching Degree) from the same institution (2015). Currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Federal University of São Carlos, investigating charge and energy transfer effects, as well as Moirè potentials, on the optical and magneto-optical properties of van der Waals heterostructures composed of transition metal dichalcogenides and 2D magnetic semiconductors.Holds expertise and interest in optical and magnetic resonance spectroscopies applied to the study of electronic, structural, and magneto-optical properties of two-dimensional materials, with experience in sample fabrication, manipulation, and characterization techniques.
