I am hold a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from the University of São Paulo (1978), a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of São Paulo (1992) and a PhD in Public Health from the University of São Paulo (1996). I am currently a Senior Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of São Paulo. My expertise is #8203;#8203;probability and statistics, with an emphasis on applied probability and statistics, working mainly on the following topics: statistical methods applied to epidemiology and cancer epidemiology.
