Marcelo Jun Murai

Bachelor's in Biological Sciences at University of Campinas (2001) and doctorate in Genetics and Molecular Biology at University of Campinas (2007). Has post doctoral experience at Unicamp, at Kansas State University and currently is a Research Associate at the University of Michigan. Has experience in Biochemistry and Biophysics, focusing on Molecular Biology and Structural Molecular Biology, acting on the following fields: molecular basis leading to acute leukemia, prostate and breast cancer; fragment-based screening using NMR; development of protein assays; and characterization of protein-protein interactions; and purification and biochemical characterization of recombinant proteins.
