PhD in Chemical Engineering Sciences from the Chemical Engineering Program at COPPE/UFRJ (2017), with a one-year sandwich PhD at the University of Alberta, Canada. She is currently an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering (DEQM) at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and a lecturer in the BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE Masters program at PUC-Rio, focusing on data science.She coordinates the COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) teaching and extension program, in partnership with Hochschule Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences (Germany), and the GAAP (Advanced Applications in Processes Group) research group at PUC-Rio. She also leads the PRH-ANP 23.1 program and research projects in chemical engineering, securing funding through competitive grants. In 2022, she was awarded the FAPERJ Young Scientist of Our State (JCNE) scholarship.Her research areas include modeling, simulation, optimization, techno-economic analysis of chemical and industrial processes, life cycle assessment (LCA) focusing on the environmental impact of technologies and products, and machine learning. She has expertise with computational tools such as Matlab, VBA, Statistica, and DBeaver; process simulators such as Aspen Hysys, Aspen Plus, and DWSIM; as well as programming languages Python, SQL, and R.
