Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Economics of the School of Economics, Business, Accounting and Actuarial Science at the University of São Paulo (FEA/USP). Researcher at the Modeling Network for Economic Simulations for Green Growth Proposals (CNPq/DTI fellow), at the Center for Regional and Urban Economics (NEREUS/USP), and former researcher at the National Institute of Science and Technology for Climate Change (INCT-MC), with a FAPESP fellowship. Ph.D. in Economics from FEA/USP, M.Sc. in Economics from UNESP, and B.Sc. in Economics from UEM. Over eight years of experience in applied research, consultancy for national and international projects, and teaching in higher education. Participated in the development of the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting (SEEA) in Brazil and Uruguay, including water, land, energy, forest, ecosystem (condition, stock, and ecosystem services: provisioning, regulating, and cultural), and biodiversity accounts, as well as ecosystem services economic valuation. Develops and applies integrated economic assessment models for environmental impacts, with emphasis on Input-Output Models (IO), Computable General Equilibrium Models (CGE), and SEEA frameworks. Experienced in estimating indicators for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and analyzing the environmental and economic impacts of international commodity trade (soy, beef, timber, cocoa, coffee, palm oil) on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, deforestation, and biodiversity loss. Participated in projects carried out by institutions such as the World Bank, United Nations, GIZ, IPEA, IBGE, ANA, EPE, SFB, and the Ministry of Agriculture of Uruguay. Taught undergraduate courses in Economics at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), including Contemporary Brazilian Economy, Regional and Urban Economics, Investment Analysis, Introduction to Economics, Applied Calculus for Economics, and Thesis Supervision. Supervised undergraduate theses and served on examination boards for undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs. Currently researching the feasibility of multi-year insurance mechanisms as tools for climate change adaptation, aimed at mitigating economic losses from hydrological anomalies (droughts), using an Integrated Assessment Modeling (IAM) framework. Authored peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and technical reports at national and international levels. Member of the International Input-Output Association (IIOA), the Brazilian Association for Regional and Urban Studies (ABER), and the Regional Science Association International (RSAI).
