Jaqueline Milagres de Almeida

Master's and PhD in Food Science from the Faculty of Food Engineering of the State University of Campinas (FEA/UNICAMP). Bachelor in Food Science and Technology and Food Technique from the Federal Institute of Education Science and Technology of the Southeast Campus Rio Pomba (IFSUDESTE-MG). She worked on research projects in developing and physical-chemical and microbiological characterization of juices and producing vegetable preserves by autochthonous microorganisms. She develops studies in #8203;#8203;Food Microbiology and Molecular Biology focusing on biopreservatives and secondary metabolites of plants and bacteria with antimicrobial action against foodborne pathogens. She works in #8203;#8203;Food Science with an emphasis on Food Microbiology. She has experience in studies involving foodborne pathogens and lactic acid bacteria that address microbiological, pro-technological, microbial resistance, resistance genes, PCR, Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS), and Bioinformatics Analysis.
