PhD in Oceanography (2017), graduated in Bachelor of Biological Sciences (2002), Specialization in Management of Tropical Coastal Environments (2004) and Master in Oceanography (2006) from the Federal University of Pernambuco. She has experience in the area of reef environment, with emphasis on Coral Ecology, working mainly on the following topics: recruitment, reproduction, initial growth, bleaching, monitoring, stable isotopes, thermal stress, calcification, ocean acidification and marine carbonate system. She has experience working in remote locations and oceanographic expeditions. She also acts as a consultant and technical manager of projects, organizes technical-scientific and extension events. Ability to design and execute projects, technical reports, data analysis, training people, experience with environmental education activities and ocean culture. Willingness to travel, work flexible hours, fluent in English, PADI Advanced Diving certification, responsible, organized, self-motivated. Member of the Executive Secretariat of the League of Women for the Ocean, of the Ocean Decade mobilization group in the Northeast. She serves on the board of Civil Society Organizations such as Instituto BiomaBrasil (PE) and Instituto Yandê (AL).
