PhD candidate at the Semiotics and General Linguistics Graduate Programme at the University of São Paulo (since 8/2018), MSc. in Evolutionary Biology at the University of São Paulo (2016), BSc. in Biology at the University of São Paulo (2008), specialisation in Geoprocessing at the SENAC University Centre. Experience as an environmental consultant in Faunistic analysis, working with ecological analyses and modelling. I translate and proofread technical, scientific and other text styles in English, Portuguese, Spanish and German. I am pursuing a second Undergraduate Programme in Language and Literature - Portuguese/ Linguistics at the University of São Paulo (since 2016). My main research interests lie in morphological/ phenotypic evolution, mammals (especially Carnivores), evolutionary biology in general, links between ecology and evolution, human evolution, cultural evolution, and parallels between evolution/ change over time in different systems, particularly between biological evolution/ diversification and language variation/ change/ diversification. I'm also interested in interdisciplinary approaches to the study of evolution, ecology, linguistics, anthropology and other fields. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
Differences in lineages' phenotypic integration patterns directly affect the amount of existing variation for different variables and thus exert direct and/or indirect influence on both the possibilities for phenotypic diversification and the ways in which given lineages respond to selective pressures. This project proposes to investigate patterns and magnitudes of morphological integra...
The student's ongoing Master's project aims to characterise skull morphological integration patterns and magnitudes in Feliforms (Carnivora) within a quantitative genetic framework, comparing results among the clade's families and with existing data for other mammals. The main objective of this internship proposal is to allow data gathering at European natural history museums, providing...
