Assistant Professor at the Astronomy Department of the Instituto de Astronomia, G. e C. Atmosféticas da Universidade de São Paulo (IAG-USP). He has PhD in Astronomy and BSc in Molecular Sciences from the University of Sao Paulo. He has postdoc experience at the IAG-USP (2013-2015) and at the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY-Zeuthen, 2015-2018). His main research topics are in the field of plasmas and high energy astrophysics, with emphasis on numerical simulations of cosmic ray and plasma phenomena with applications in the interstellar and extragalactic media.
