Matheus obtained his BEng, MSc. and PhD degrees from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC), University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He visited Maynooth University as a PhD visiting researcher and he worked as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at University College Dublin. He is now an Assistant Professor at FEEC/UNICAMP.
