I hold a degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from São Judas Tadeu University, a master's degree in Biological Sciences (with an emphasis in Pharmacology) from the University of São Paulo, and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (with an emphasis in Molecular Biology and NGS Sequencing). Throughout my academic journey, I have gained expertise in Biochemical Pharmacology, Cell Culture, Molecular Biology, and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), including microbiome studies, complete and/or partial genome sequencing of pathogens and humans, using various platforms such as Ion Torrent, Illumina, and Oxford Nanopore. I also had the opportunity to teach at FMU (Metropolitan United Colleges) in the Pharmacy and Biomedicine programs, and I currently serve as the coordinator of the Genetic Sequencing Facility at LIM-46, Faculty of Medicine, USP.
