He holds a degree in Agronomic Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1989), a master's degree in Sciences (Nuclear Energy in Agriculture) from Universidade de São Paulo (1993), a doctorate in Agronomy (Soils and Plant Nutrition) from Universidade de São Paulo (1999) and a post-doctorate degree from Universidade de São Paulo (2011). He is currently Associate Professor, level 2, at the University of São Paulo. Head of the Division of Agroindustrial Productivity and Food DVPROD/CENA/USP. Member of CPG and CCP / CENA / USP- Postgraduate Committee and Program Coordinating Committee Has experience in Agronomy, with emphasis on Soil Fertility, Plant Nutrition and Forest Management (fertilization), working mainly with the following themes: eucalyptus, sugarcane, sewage sludge, organic compost, garbage compost, heavy metals, nitrogen and phosphorus.
