Thiago is graduated in Chemical Engineering by the University of São Paulo (2012) and he received his PhD degree in Polymer Chemistry from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (2017), in France. He conducted two postdoctoral studies in Australia, at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, from 2018 to 2021, and at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, from 2021 to 2023. Since February 2023, he has been a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bordeaux, in France, working on the development of nanoparticles for green hydrogen production via photocatalysis. He has experience in the field of Chemistry, with emphasis on Polymers, Nanocomposites, and Colloids, mainly focusing on the following topics: emulsion polymerization, clay nanocomposites, magnetic nanoparticles, nanoengineering of polymeric particles, RAFT polymerization, light-responsive materials, polymer characterization, and green hydrogen.
