Prof. Milessi holds a degree in Biochemical Engineering from USP-Lorena (2010), a Master's in Industrial Biotechnology from the School of Engineering of Lorena USP (2012) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (2017), with a internship period at KU Leuven (Belgium). ). She worked as a professor at the Federal University of Itajubá (Unifei) for 3 years in the courses of Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering and Master in Energy Engineering. She has experience in the area of Chemical Engineering, with emphasis on Biochemical Processes, working mainly with bioethanol (on which he has two patents deposited), biotechnological use of agrowaste, cellular and enzymatic immobilization, enzymatic technology and fermentation with wild and recombinant microorganisms.She is currently a professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering (DEQ) and a permanent member of the Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering (PPGEQ/DEQ) at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
