Angelica Nardo Caseri is a specialist in Artificial Intelligence and Geostatistics applied to Geosciences, with over a decade of experience in research and development of innovative solutions for extreme event prediction, spatial pattern analysis, and environmental data modeling. She holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2013) and in Agronomic Engineering from Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (2012). She earned a Master's degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure Agronomique de Toulouse (2012), specializing in Hydrology and Sanitary Engineering, and completed her Ph.D. at AgroParisTech and Paris VI (2017) in the field of Hydrometeorology.Throughout her academic and professional journey, she worked as a researcher at the National Research Institute of Science and Technology for Environment and Agriculture (IRSTEA, France), developing predictive models for hydrological systems. She was a FAPESP postdoctoral fellow at Cemaden, working on the SOS-Chuva project, and also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Applied Mathematics at PUC-Rio, both focusing on the use of geostatistics and machine learning for environmental data analysis and extreme event prediction.Currently, she is the Head of Data Science and Data Intelligence at Yara Fertilizantes. Additionally, she collaborates on research projects in Applied Mathematics at PUC-Rio and ICMC-USP and is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Mathematical and Computational Sciences at USP (ICMC), where she applies Artificial Intelligence and complex networks for climate forecasting.
